Carlina Conrad-Cloppenburg

Chair, NEXUS Europe

Carlina Conrad-Cloppenburg is the Chair of NEXUS Europe, part of NEXUS Global - one of the largest global communities of next-gen philanthropists, impact investors and social entrepreneurs. Drawing on her background in neuroscience and behavioral research, she supports individuals in navigating leadership, family dynamics, and long-term impact. She does so through one-on-one engagements, as well as by designing and facilitating immersive retreats, trainings, and peer learning forums. Carlina holds a BSc in Neuroscience and an MA in Social Psychology and Neuroscience, is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Organizational Behavior at IE Business School in Madrid, and is an Adjunct Professor of Leadership at IE. Her scientific research focuses on conflict, trust repair, and neurodiversity, and has been presented at leading international conferences, recognized with the Early Career Scholars Award from the International Association for Conflict Management, and published in top academic outlets, including the Oxford Handbook of Individual Differences at the Workplace. She brings experience from roles at Chanel, SPARK Neuro, OneWonder, and NEXUS Global. As a sixth-generation member of a family business, she also brings lived experience of intergenerational dynamics to her work.
