Pauline Borg
Board Member, Eva Ahlström Foundation; Founder & CEO, KAIROS
Pauline is the founder of KAIROS, a strategic advisory firm working with next-generation family business and family office leaders to reimagine the role of private wealth in a time of global complexity and generational transition. She supports families in shaping ownership strategies that align their full spectrum of capital with shared values, long-term vision, and the potential to drive systemic change. She brings a deeply relational and values-driven approach to advising families, focusing on bridging intergenerational perspectives, translating purpose into strategy, and building coherence between what families stand for and how their capital expressed. A fifth-generation member of a Finnish industrial family, Pauline draws on personal experience navigating the responsibility and possibility of legacy. Her work is rooted in systems thinking, responsible stewardship, and a belief in the evolving role of wealth holders as agents of positive transformation. She founded KAIROS to support families in navigating the deeper questions of purpose, legacy, and how wealth can serve both people and planet across generations. Pauline serves on the board of the Eva Ahlström Foundation, supporting global efforts in education and emerging adult mental health. She holds a Master’s in Strategic Marketing from Imperial College London and a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Strategic and Operational Philanthropy from the University of Geneva. She is based in Zürich and is active across the world.
