Teis Knuthsen

Teis Knuthsen is CIO of Financial Investments at Kirk Kapital, as well as CEO of the asset management arm. He oversees the Kirk Kapital financial portfolio, the Kirk Johansen family’s personal portfolios as well as the external portfolios at what has in recent years become a regulated multi-family office. His focus is on managing multi-generational wealth through portfolios spanning all major asset classes, including private markets. Prior to joining Kirk Kapital in 2018, Teis was CIO of Nykredit Asset Management and CIO of Saxo Private Bank. Before that, Teis held a wide range of roles in financial markets, including head of fixed income and chief strategist at SEB, head of FX research at Danske Bank and head of European research at First Chicago Capital Markets (London). Teis sits on the boards of Lindenstone, a German family office, SDG Invest, a sustainable equity fund, and serves as an external advisor to the IC of AkademikerPension, a Danish pension fund. Kirk Kapital is a multi-family office centered on the Kirk Johansen family in Denmark. The original wealth comes from LEGO.
